The Space
This is the space where you will find opportunities to confront obstacles that have been in the way for some time.
Education & Experience
I received my MSW from Rutgers University School of Social Work. During my time at Rutgers I worked within the Center for Social Justice and LGBTQ Communities. Here I obtained my start with providing Gender and Identity Affirming Care. Soon after I moved to California to collect my clinical hours for licensure through the Sacramento County Medi-Cal counseling center and foster placement services. I supported the creation of the Affirming Home program for LGBTQIA+ youth. While I loved my time in California, it was time to come back to my home base of the Northeast and settle in Philadelphia. Here I allowed myself to delve deeper into clinical work and build a community of my own.
I have presented on panels supporting parents of Transgender, Nonbinary, and gender diverse youth and facilitated didactics for local PsyD and Physical Therapy programs aiming to provide inclusive care. I am a Part-Time Lecturer at Rutgers University Camden School of Social Work where I teach Confronting Anti-Black Racism, Clinical Social Work for Healthcare, and Integration Seminar.
